What is Live Right Now?

Our Past:

It all began with a phone call between two young friends.

I had recently come home from serving as a missionary and we were both on fire with desire to fight against those ideologies that are destroying individuals and families. They both wanted to do something to participate in the great conversation about what really matters now, and for the future of our society. Through that conversation, Live Right Now was born as a project group to start a podcast and share principles that strengthen families, with the intent of learning to bring other big ideas to life. As goals were identified, action steps determined, and work initiated, the podcast came into being.

While they were meeting consistently to plan the podcast, they also started separate discussions to learn principles of self-mastery so we could bring our ideas to life. These project and discussion groups provided the basis for future endeavors to help people form an accurate model of how life works and develop self-mastery in their own lives so they could bring their project ideas to life.

Live Right Now Media started as a project of the Change the World Club. It is a community of creators and organizations collaborating to bring ideas to life to bless mankind. It is a great space to start a project and let it grow. We want to promote those principles that strengthen society: strengthening families, entrepreneurship, self-reliance, and selflessness service.

Strengthen Families Since its inception with that phone call a few years ago, Live Right Now Media has had the purpose of strengthening families. Families are the fundamental unit of society and the primary source of our character development. In our homes, and with those closest to us, we receive messages of who we are, how life works, and what matters. It is very important that the messages we receive provide an accurate mindset that works well in the world to bring desirable outcomes for our characters, our relationships, and the circumstances we create by the choices we make. The other fundamental idea behind Live Right Now Media is entrepreneurship. We see entrepreneurship, and business in general as how we solve problems in the world. Businesses exist to help people fulfill their wants and meet their needs. Business is service.

Self-Reliance and Service

Self-mastery and self-reliance is the foundation of service. As we master our ability to meet our own needs for good health, strong relationships, productivity, and self-reliance we are standing on a firm foundation to be able to serve others, and bring our ideas to life to bless mankind. As we master the inner life, we are prepared to build a better world.

With those ideas in mind, the Change the World Club is focused on a character education. Similar incubators and communities focus on the external circumstances such as financing, training and licensing-- all very important, but The Change the World Club goes deeper, with a focus on developing an entrepreneurial mindset and a lifestyle grounded in strong relationships, self-mastery and a focus on service.

We want to encourage people to be entrepreneurs and bring their ideas to life, and provide the resources for them to do so. Everyone has knowledge, skills, experiences, gifts and talents to offer the world. We all have dreams for the kind of person we want to become and the work we want to do in the world.

I am a dreamer. For so long, one of my biggest downfalls has been my tendency to offload my intentions and goals to my future self. "When I'm older I will… (start my business, develop self-mastery, read books, learn skills, etc)" I would tell myself. But I found that I was just trying to justify a life of mediocrity right now. Perhaps you are doing the same. But the message of Live Right Now is to live your best life, right now! Consider the goals you have for self-mastery: eating healthily, reading books, strengthening your relationships, being more productive and focused on your life purpose. Consider your goals for service: what you want to create, the people you want to serve, the kind of impact you want to have on others.

My invitation to you is to live right now. Stop dreaming, and start doing. And if you aren't sure where to start, plug into the Change the World Club, a community of creators striving to become their best selves and do the most good in the world. By joining one of our project groups, you can develop an entrepreneurial mindset, self-mastery through accountability, and bring your ideas to life.

Most ideas die for lack of support, consistency, focus, resources, knowledge, skills, and most importantly, the mindset and lifestyle conducive for creativity and service. Our startup groups can provide all the consistency, support, and opportunity for growth that wantrepreneurs need.
